Seeking to better the lives of local animals through education and action.
Adopt, Rescue, Spay & Neuter
Shelters
With our mission always in mind, we work tirelessly to improve the lives of animals in our local shelters.
As a foster-based organization, dogs that we take in are placed in foster homes until they are either adopted locally or they transport to our sister rescues.
Our Outreach
As a foster-based rescue we can only take in as many dogs as we have foster homes for and as many dogs as our resources will allow.
One of our outreach programs is to purchase vaccinations, dewormer, and supplies for local pounds/shelters that do not have a budget for those items. Our hope with this program is that dogs and puppies can get the vaccinations and medications that they need to stay healthy in that environment until we are able to take them or they find their forever homes. We are able to continue this program because of donations from our wonderful followers and supporters, fundraisers, and grants!
Spay/Neuter Program
We know that we can not adopt or transport our way out of the pet over population problem in south Arkansas.
We also understand that sometimes pet owners need a little help so we created SNIP, our low cost spay and neuter voucher program for low income pet owners in Columbia and Ouachita Counties.
Existing pet owners request an application, pay a discounted fee, and we send a voucher that can be used at participating veterinarians in our area.
